Concierge Co-ordinator – Redruth
Join a team where you can make a real difference to people's everyday lives
With over 20 years of experience, Alexandras Community Care is one of Cornwall's most established care providers. We are now developing our new Alexandras Concierge Service, designed to provide practical, personal support to our private clients and their families.
We are looking for a highly organised, confident and personable Concierge Co-ordinator to help deliver the service from our Redruth office.
About the role
This is a varied coordination role where you will be the main point of contact for clients using Alexandras Concierge Service.
You'll take ownership of client requests from start to finish, helping arrange practical day-to-day services through our trusted network of local suppliers. This could involve speaking with clients and families, contacting suppliers, researching solutions, making arrangements and following up to make sure everything has been completed.
You'll also keep accurate records, track costs and outstanding actions, and help us develop our supplier network and the Concierge Service as it grows.
During the initial pilot, part of your working week will also involve supporting our wider Private Client team with administrative and client coordination work.
What we're looking for
You do not need previous care experience for this role. We're much more interested in finding someone with the right organisational skills, communication style and attitude.
You will need to be:
Highly organised and able to keep track of several requests and actions at once
An excellent communicator, both on the phone and in writing
Warm, approachable and confident speaking with clients and their families
Proactive and comfortable taking ownership of something through to completion
A practical problem-solver who enjoys finding solutions
Confident contacting and building relationships with local businesses and suppliers
Confident with technology, with strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems, including CRM software, online booking platforms and digital communication tools.
Reliable, discreet and professional when dealing with confidential information
Able to recognise when something needs to be escalated rather than trying to resolve everything yourself
The role is based at a fixed location in Redruth, so you do not need to be a driver or have access to a car.
