Business Development Executive Role – Home Care and Community Services
Seize the chance to join a progressive, close-knit team as a Business Development Executive. This pivotal position is key in driving the growth and success of our care services across Cornwall, building partnerships and increasing our presence in the community. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to create opportunities that deliver meaningful impact to clients and families.
Key Business Development Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the home care and community care sector, proactively engaging with potential clients and partners.
- Develop and maintain relationships with commissioners, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other referral sources to expand our reach.
- Support tendering processes by coordinating proposals, researching market trends, and producing persuasive, high-quality documentation.
- Promote our services through networking, attending industry events, and fostering community connections that reflect our values and ambitions.
- Analyse business growth and market data to identify new trends, inform strategy, and help maximise opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with care, management, and administration teams to ensure seamless service delivery for new contracts and clients.

Essential Business Development Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in business development, sales, or partnerships – ideally within social care, health care, or related sectors
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-moving environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to quickly learn internal systems
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a diverse team
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Cornwall for meetings and events
